☀️ Today’s Weather

Monday's starting cold with scattered snow showers rolling through in the morning before that second cold front makes its exit around 1–2 PM. Most of us are looking at a coating to an inch of accumulation, with the higher elevations potentially seeing up to 2 inches. The good news? The afternoon clears out, and if you can wait it out, you'll be rewarded with some partial sunshine and drier skies, though it'll still be a brisk one with a high of only 42 and a low of 25 tonight.

🗞️ Top Stories

1. Joey Spallina Is Now SU Lacrosse Royalty Joey Spallina broke the all-time scoring record in Syracuse men's lacrosse history on Saturday, and he did it in style helping the Orange top Colgate 14–7 to close out the JMA Dome slate completely undefeated. This is a massive deal for SU fans: Spallina is now the greatest scorer in one of the most storied lacrosse programs in the country, and if Saturday was any indication, he's not done yet.

2. Your Crunch Are Playoff-Bound and Ready The Syracuse Crunch capped their regular season with a dominant 4–0 shutout of the Belleville Senators and now set their sights on the North Division Semifinals against the Cleveland Monsters. Playoff hockey is back in Syracuse, folks. Time to dust off the orange and blue and get loud at the Upstate Medical University Arena.

3. Over 150 Animals Removed from Oswego County Property More than 150 animals (some dead, others malnourished) were removed from a property in Oswego County following what officials are calling a serious case of animal neglect. It's a tough story, but an important one: local authorities are actively investigating, and the scale of what was found there is hard to ignore.
